Dispatches: At Home With The Terror Suspects
In 2005, following the House of Lords overruling the 2001 Terrorism Act which allowed for people to be held without trial, the Government forced legislation through Parliament that allowed for suspects to be placed on Control Orders, restricting their free movement and effectively placing the men under house arrest. This film demonstrates that the legislation, apart from being unjust, is ineffective, random and obscure.
